Hi! Just looking for some advice or tips really
i was bitten several times on both legs by black ants on Thursday and they got infected and progressed to early cellulitis. Luckily I rang 111 quick and nipped it in the bud early.
they prescribed a week course of FLUCLOXACILLIN to take 4 a day.
ive only got about 10 left and stop Saturday but omg they’re making me feel so ill. I don’t wanna stop taking them in case it comes back and my bites are healed now basically- the redness is gone and they’re just dots now no itch or pain HOWEVER they’ve bloated me hugely and I feel so so so sick and nauseous on them.
im allergic to erythromycin and get violently sick on those but these just feel a wee bit strong thats all. Does anyone have any tips on powering through ? Anyone else felt bad or sick on these specific ones? I have been having them with food too x

I would consider calling your GP today and letting them know of your reaction.
I wouldn't power through if I had that type of reaction.
Please Google FLUCLOXACILLIN, and read up on it.
You could also go to the pharmacist who filled your prescription and describe to them your adverse reaction.
They would likely have some suggestions for you.
Did you receive paperwork at the pharmacy when you got your prescription outlining potential side effects, and when to take the FLUCLOXACILLIN?
I hope you feel better soon , your reaction sounds really nasty.
Ask the pharmacist if you should be having food before taking FLUCLOXACILLIN, from reading up on it it would appear you're supposed to take it on an empty stomach to decrease the chance of reaction.
Go to your pharmacist tell them you've been taking the antibiotic after eating and describe your reactions OP.

It's better to take on an empty stomach.
Go for at least 30 mins before food, and 2 hours after food.
