You’ve got a vegan, a vegetarian and 3 meat eaters.

What’s your menu?

I am considering mine currently. Thinking Indian is a good option but you just know someone will moan they don’t like spices!

I’d make sure that they weren’t kept waiting for their food and that I provided plenty of vegan-friendly wine to get all of them pissed. I reckon that’s a winning formula.

She could have a bit of cheeeeeeese though, Barbara

Edit: Oops! Wrong quote! That was to the wafer thin ham comment 😅

Ideally I'd do a meat dish and a vegan dish, but if i wanted to win I'd do vegan for everyone and convince the meat eaters that vegan food is 'just as nice'.

https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/burnt-leeks-toast-romesco this to start, with a light green salad maybe

https://vintagekitty.com/root-vegetable-pot-pie/ this with herby potatoes, broccolini and wilted wild garlic and a buttery sauce

Followed by a peach cobbler- always a favourite

All home grown/made, served on handmade dishes and cutlery made by local artisans to get the most points

WHAT A SAD LITTLE LIFE JANE 😆

I could offer up a Jamaican sweet potato and black bean curry. Extremely spicy 😋

Curry is tempting. I make a delicious vegan curry, and I don't think the carnivores would notice the lack of meat. Maybe some garlicky mushrooms and spiced aubergines with flatbreads to start, and roasted pineapple with coconut cream as a pudding.

You'd never win with a full vegan menu. Been watching the show since the beginning and I don't think a full vegan menu has ever won, no matter how nice. The meat eaters would expect meat at a dinner party.

Starter - Roasted Red Pepper and Tomato Soup with homemade bread

Main - Slow Roasted Lamb with Dauphinoise potatoes, brown sugar butter carrots, minted peas and cauliflower cheese

Vegan - Rosemary and Garlic Potatoes, vegan vegetable and mushroom pie with minted peas, brown sugar roasted carrots

Dessert - chocolate cake with coconut ice-cream

This sounds delicious! Do you have recipes please?
