Hi all,
I gave birth to a lovely baby girl 10 days ago and would love to chat with others who are going through the same thing as I don’t have any local friends with newborns so it can be quite lonely. Anyone keen to keep me company through the highs & the lows?

This is a lovely idea. I'm a bit further along. Baby boy no.2 is now 9 weeks but it all still feels very fresh. How are you feeling in yourself? Did the birth go ok?

We are just beginning to creep out of the trenches with a touch of routine (as much as you can have with a baby) and some smiles which makes it all worth it.

Are you going to join any baby groups? None of my friends have kids so I went and joined lots of baby groups. It's like speed dating for mums lol.
