Scenario - Waiting for secondary school DC to come out today, and a man comes up to ask where the entrance into the school is.
There's a queue of 4 cars all parked up, all with occupants inside, and windows down due to warm weather.
Without exception, we're all on our phones (I was catching up on MN!) so it wasn't as if I was looking bored and caught his eye or anything.
Man bypasses all cars before mine to ask.
It has happened twice prior to today (school entrance gate is evidently not very obvious) so I guess I must have an approachable demeanour, which DH creased up at when I told him as I am actually a very grumpy git, and a resting bitch face is my natural state😆

DH is one of those annoying smiley people but somehow, I am the one who people approach, and also end up telling me their life stories within 10 minutes of meeting them.

Friendly, open and approachable - sadly. It encourages all sorts of nutters and chancers.

RBF here. Sadly it doesn’t deter the fucking arseole chuggers in the town centre where I work.

RBF and comes with the death stare on occasion. Have to remember and try to look friendly.

I don’t have a RBF, but I do give fuck off vibes, which confuses and upsets people.

You hear about people going travelling and meeting other young people at a bus stop who they go on an adventure with. Not me. I only get old ladies chat to me. It’s always been the same. Fun people don’t want to talk to me. Although, to be fair old ladies do know the local area well and can give good advice about public transport.

I had a neighbour who use to tell me her problems... and I would pull "concerned" face and she would say "its not funny!!!".
So I think I have sarcastic bitch face...

Have to remember and try to look friendly.

@LynetteScavo It always is the elderly folk who always tell me their life stories. I actually do quite enjoy these as they’re (mostly) fascinating.
I will have to make a conscious effort to work on those FO vibes 😁

Kinda RBF, but honestly my naturally down turned mouth and big eyes just make me look abit anxious or upset.
