Why could Liz II' (and Philip)'s memorial have been something that generated real legacy, somewhere it was needed?

What kind of Loony Left/Woke/anti Monarchy question is this? Actually I agree. if someone wants a memorial the RF can fund it out of their immense wealth or have a GoFundMe and our Royal lovers can rejoice in the memorial they helped create. no need to dip in our pockets for it
