WTF did I just see?!?! I couldn't have predicted Robbie Williams advertising cat food in a million years

He's an actor as well as a singer and song writer. Why wouldn't he star in an advert?

It's not new - sure he's sung a jingle for them in the past.

He’s always given off strong Top Cat vibes, to be fair. He’s the boss, he’s the pip, he’s the championship - in his own head, definitely.

Still can't beat Robert De Niro in an advert for Warburtons.

Because they’re greedy people cashing in on any and all venues. It makes sad for any young people trying to break into acting. It’s all who you know and there’s a lot of no talent. Movies aren’t what they used to be. Nepotism is more alive and well than it’s ever been before.

Agreed - I love a bit if Robbie and am gutted I didn’t get tickets to his tour as the concerts look fab, but when I saw the advert I just thought really? Why would I buy felix cos of Robbie?

He’s bloody loaded he really doesn’t need the money and I feel the same when the likes of Beckham or ant and Dec go round hoovering up all the jobs too.

None of them need the money, Martha Stewart, snoop dog, Ben affleck, Matt Damon, David Beckham and it’s just on an on. They need the money but it’ll keep topping up their bank accounts every time an ad is shown.

It’s just all of them. Let others have a chance to make some kind of impact in acting. All the actors on in on it bc it’s easy money. There was the backstreet guy doing doing meow meow meow ads.

And I’m happy you’re happy. I just feel bad for the younger people trying to get into acting bc that used to be the way they got their foot in the door. Now all entrances are taken away. I know it’s a stupid and I don’t really care that much but I would if I was trying to become an actor but I’m not. And some of the commercials are good.

The last Felix ad had him singing and his name was credited on the screen too. So now he is on screen, it's not a huge jump.

It's better than those awful perfume ads some A listers go for. Except the Timothée chalamet one, I like that! That Cate Blanchett one from a few years ago is so stupid i no longer want to see her in films, I genuinely have never watched Claudia winkleman do anything because of her annoying shampoo ad. They don't think, they just care about the money.

Felix sponsored Robbie's 2025 tour. So the adverts are probably part of the deal.
