Bloody Bing!

Anyone else hate Bing?? For me it’s the stupid language they use, teaching children the wrong words and phrases. For example:

Rainybow
Roundybout
Fravourite
”What shall we do with our angry?” - it doesn’t even make sense!!

I just don’t get it. I’ve stopped DD 2yr 7m from watching it because I just don’t want her using those stupid words. Children are only going to have to be taught the real ones! What is the point?!

😂 I agree too, couldn't stand him. It's such a weird set up too - who is Flop? I always think of Bing as the butterfly killer..

Unless your child is watching it round the clock, I'm sure your own vocabulary and language will be much more influential so I wouldn't sweat it tbh. My now 13yo loved Bing when he was 3. It was a short lived time and not worth getting bothered about. Makes me smile now to think of it.

You should ask yourself as parents why you dislike normal child behaviour so much? I feel sorry for your little ones.

hard agree. He is insufferable and I blame Flop
who is a wet wipe too. The episode where Bing has a cold and flop keeps saying ‘Aychee’ instead of achoo makes me leave the room.

Bing himself (itself?) was sooooooo bloody moany, but I thought that was quite realistic 😂 Flop was inexplicably Saint-like, however. DS was obsessed with the show, and I was just grateful I didn’t have to listen to In the Night Garden.
