Children’s craft ideas please!

I’m organising a craft activity table for children at an event, not expecting loads of kids, but want something for them to do. Limited budget but I am struggling for ideas. Can anyone give me some inspiration please on low budget things to make? I’m happy to make an exemplar and spend a bit of time preparing parts.

How about eco-friendly things like making bird feeders from pinecones stuffed with lard and seed? Or making models out of toilet roll innards, necklaces from macaroni, etc

Does the event have a theme?

Peg dolls with wooden clothes pegs?
Pompoms and tassels to make into animals?
Mobiles with coloured paper spirals?

Thank you for the ideas so far - really appreciate them. The peg dolls might work well as can just buy the pegs and use scraps of fabric and wool which will be cheap. I might combine that with a paper craft too.

We made these dragon blowers at a toddler group but I'm sure it'll be fun for younger primary kids too. I would either paint the toilet tubes green ahead of time, or buy green paper cups and cut the base off.

Making snowflakes from white paper?? Gift tags from old Christmas cards? Baker ross has loads of good craft kits, they do a discount for big packs ( 10 or more). My sons used to make snow flakes from old pegs, glue and glitter. Still have them 20 years later ❣️

paper plate crafts? Lots of ideas if you google to make hats, masks etc
