Beginner Minecraft question!

Just getting everything set up for my son to start playing Minecraft and I think I’ve made a daft error. I’ve paid for it under my Microsoft account, does this mean I need to pay for it again from his account or is there some way he can get onto it? I will not be playing it myself so ideally there’s a solution which isn’t spending another £25! Thanks

My two are obsessed too, and I found that sticking to Creative mode made it way easier for them to build stuff without mobs getting in the way. They also got really excited when we added shaders 1.21.7 — it made everything look so much cooler, with better lighting and colours. Just had to look up a quick guide to get it working with their version, but it was worth it.
