Thunder

Do you have thunder and lightning where you are? And do you like it or hate it?
I never used to, but love it now. Currently sat on my bed with the blinds and window open listening to it along with the rain

I'm envious,we had 5 minutes rain after lunch which just increased the humidity.

No. Love it; but don’t like how it upsets the dogs

Same as @LoafofSellotape just shut the windows downstairs. Upstairs is still sweltering 🥵🥵

Yep only downside is I need to keep the baby's window open because it's soo damn hot, so hopefully it doesn't wake him

Although not half as hot as last night

It passed over us between about 8:30 and 9. The house is still too warm, even though it's much more civilised outside, now.

Our rain is over the north sea now but the storm band along the Scottish border right now looks wild.

Love the drama of a storm, not happening in south east unfortunately

We're pretty much on the Scottish borders. It's quite bad at the moment

No storms here. It has got cooler though. The bedroom windows are open and it feels quite fresh now. It feels really pleasant.

I do love a good thunderstorm though, especially when I’m in bed listening to it.

Worse the weather is the better i feel.

Cumbria here but right on Northumberland border and having the biggest storm I have ever seen. Constant lightning flashes which light up the sky now been happening for over half an hour. It is insane. We have a lot of woodland and expecting significant damage in the morning.

I'm not keen since two houses (3 years apart) around here got hit by lightening.

The first family got out unscathed, although they lost nearly all their belongings in the fire.

The second family weren't so lucky and their toddler needed a skin graft for a leg injury.

I'm in west Northumberland about half an hour from.the Scottish border. We had a few thunder clumps earlier but currently have heavy rain and lots of lightning but no thunder. I have a very wet cat sitting next to me!😁 Not sure if we're just on the edge or if it's going to get worse. Have just heard thunder now so DD is not going to be happy.
