DD’s room is being done and we’re struggling to pin down a wallpaper. She wants it to look more grown up but not excessively girly - no wall-to-wall pink. She likes yellow, green, purple. She wanted vibrant jungle theme for a while so we found some nice feature wallpaper with parrots on but she’s now worried that’ll look too babyish (it’s not kids’ paper, but I can’t persuade her it isn’t babyish now). She’s definitely wanting a pattern but cannot pin down what she’s looking for. Would be happy with a feature wall and the rest painted, or a more subtle print all over. Has anyone got any ideas or suggestions if you’ve done a teen bedroom recently?
Interest wise, she’s obsessed with musicals, cats and dogs and making PowerPoints. I’d say she’s quite a young 12, but she’s wanting a more sophisticated look.
