Respite break ideas

We have 2nights / 3 day respite break from our caring responsibilities. This will be our only break this year so keen to get it right! We live in the SE and happy to stay UK or travel (Gatwick / Heathrow). Extremely strict budget of £300 for travel and accommodation ( food and activities are allocated separately).

accommodation just needs to be clean and near food 🤤 DH wants delicious non fancy food. Ie tapas in Barcelona as it looks cheaper to fly than stay here… Further complication is it needs to be in July.

please give me all Inspo in UK and abroad so I can spend my evening browsing and making a decision.

Gran Alicant, fly into Alicante airport so many airlines with flights from regional airports/ low cost carriers. You can get a taxi from the airport dir about €20. Get an air bnb. There's a beach, a few bars and restaurants. Lots of Spanish people go there for long weekends away from Benidorm.

I've done this, it was a nice easy break.
