hi😊, just looking for some advice really
I have had PCOS for years & it is quite severe- always cysts found, was going years without a period, I have to shave my face every day and it’s very bad and severe pain etc. I was a whopping 22 stone and a quarter in weight, & i was going years with no period i definitely was not releasing an egg. Anyways, I was put on metformin which was an absolute godsend- I lost about a stone in weight and my periods have now returned however they are irregular. They are every single month without fail BUT on scattered days. For example one month was the 13th, this month was 17th but they last a good normal length (5 or so days) & they are really quite heavy. Metformin restored them.
now, I have recently settled with a lovely partner & fiancé & we haven’t made a decision to try
in depth but we are having unprotected sex because we do want something to happen when it happens. The thing I don’t understand is that we do it all the time every day as we live together (sorry TMI!) we do it about twice a day & no contraception. The problem and thing i dont understand is am I actually ovulating? I am having periods every month no issue but I just can’t get pregnant. I was late the other week but then came on my period and it was super heavy with lots of clots! I don’t understand how im menstruating and having these monthly periods but I just am not falling pregnant. Im sick of doing tests and they’re all negative
i guess I need advice and am I even ovulating?
im scared i cant give my fiancé & lover what we both want and need
