Mid 40's hair

Since hitting my forties, my hair has become frizzy and dull. I'm assuming it's my age, but is there anything I can use to get it looking sleek again? I've tried different conditioners, but just seems to make it look greasy. Thank you!

I don’t know if this is useful but I'm 40-ish and my hair has suddenly become wavy. I started buying products for wavy/curly hair, including a cream you apply on damp hair and let dry. It’s taken a while but I’ve finally figured out how to make it look good like this. If I blow dry it just looks like a frizzy mess.

I got myself a silk bonnet to sleep in. It's not glamorous, but has made an incredible difference. Some people prefer to sleep on a silk pillow case but i like the hair being contained. I also take an iron supplement.

Aside from using decent shampoo and conditioner, I find blow drying my hair (in sections) after I’ve washed it really helps. Make sure the nozzle points down and always finish with a cool blast. The cool setting is really helpful in fighting frizz.
