Does anyone else feel like this?

When I get involved with a thread, posting or interested, after the first flurry/first day or so of responses, I usually only revisit it when the OP reposts. I can’t see the point of lots of opinions/responses on some discussions if the OP is no longer interested.

Thank you to those OPs who do share their outcomes or decisions!

Frequently the OP opts out when the thread isn’t going their way.

I agree that it would be good to know the outcome of a thread.

It's makes for a much more interesting thread if the OP stays engaged with those who take the time to reply, say every 10 posts or so is ideal.
It does take time though, but if OP is interested in getting responses, I think it's only fair that they're acknowledged.

Entirely depends on the thread tbh. There are some full threads that I’ve read every single post on, others I’ve not read anything other than the first couple of responses, some I revisit over the course of a week dipping in & out.

Thanks for the replies. Obviously I’m in the minority, no worries.
