Leftovers question

A few weeks ago I made a lentil stew- just chopped tomatoes and dried lentils (and seasoning, of course!). I made way too much, and froze the leftovers.

I defrosted it for lunch today, then cooked it in the microwave.

I completely forgot that I‘m on my own this lunchtime! After a panic of wondering where everyone is, I‘m left with lots of food.

Would you let it cool, put it in the fridge and heat it up again tomorrow?

I would
but then I’m fairly un-risk averse with doing stuff like this
as long as it smells and tastes ok you should be fine

Yes, will be fine. I might be less inclined to do it if chicken or prawns, but it’s just lentils.

Lentils should be fine.... but if in doubt surely they could be eaten cold?
