Sick of being nice to not be considered a bigot.

I used to consider myself left wing. I don’t even know what what means anymore. I don’t want any good human beings to suffer or live unassisted lives in poverty.

However I’ve hit my 40s and now want all rapists and murdered - especially of women - to be absolutely yeeted from this country and the earth. I don’t care how. Death penalty, deportation, life imprisonment.
im just beyond sick of men that rape and murder women. Kill them, deport them, put them away for the rest of their lives. I don’t give a fuck about their wellbeing or their skin colour. White men or black
men. Any man who rapes or murders women.

Throw them into the sea to drown. I don’t care if its
inhumane. Just rid the earth of men who rape
and murder.

Kill all rapists and child murderers. Fuck their human rights.

There is a widespread myth that to be a good person you have to be left-wing. Some of the vilest human beings I have ever met have been left-wing or ‘liberal’. In fact, the left is a magnet for bitter, destructive, hate-filled individuals. I know because I used to be one. Frankie Boyle is a good example of what I mean. But because such people direct their hate towards middle-class Daily Mail readers and ‘nimbys’, somehow it’s OK. In my experience, the nicest people tend to be vaguely centrist, maybe mildly conservative, but broad-minded and humane. Looking back, I see myself as the brainwashed member of a cult. I now regard myself as a sceptical conservative. So much of what left-wing people believe sounds great in a sixth form common room, but causes chaos and misery when applied to the real world.

i agree with you. Some of the most sanctimonious, self righteous, thoroughly unpleasant people I have meet are firmly in the left / Labour / socialist camp. And some of my older Tory friends are the kindest, most generous people I know.

i too have outgrown the sixth form common room and don’t know where I belong.

I don’t agree about murdering them, that’s way too easy. They need to be tortured slowly, painfully, everyday for the rest of the lives.

Look everybody, ComeOnIrene has won! Can you not see that ComeOnIrene must be the most superior of people? Anyone who advocates anything less than slow, lifelong torture is simply less furious, less empathetic, less FEELING than the Great and Righteous ComeOnIrene. Look upon this level of ire and vengeance and weep, for you will forever be morally inferior, no matter how many bread-and-water life sentences or summary executions you bray for in massed mobs.

As someone who works in the CJS I can assure you that is not the case. White males are convicted of a disproportionate amount of sexual offences in the UK.

That’s not really what I said. I’m sure white males (and British to boot) do make up the majority of convictions, which makes sense from a demographic standpoint.

Asylum seekers and migrants who make up less than 10% of the population commit up to 25% of sexual offences. The number of sexual offences committed by this group is disproportionately large in comparison to their population size.

Some migrants and asylum seekers are also white (Romanians are the worse offenders statistically speaking) so it’s not really about the colour of someone’s skin.

Dawncleo62 · 17/06/2025 21:32

I have always made it plain to All my partners that if they Ever hit me then they could go to Deepest, Darkess Peru & I would find them….though I got mentally tortured & gaslit before I even knew what it was. I became a psychiatric nurse & soon endowed myself with knowledge. I am also of the opinion that certain crimes should be punished with a Capital punishment, but obviously, it should be proven beyond a doubt. I would have No trouble with opening a trapdoor under such people. I applaud your honesty & I suspect that a lot of people agree but keep quiet because due to this “ Snowflake” culture that now dominates any free-speech!

Very interesting post. I been thinking on the same lines recently. That shock horror i might actually be a bit conservative. That people who are right wing are not necessarily evil. Of course there are extremes. But sometimes you just need to listen.

user101101 · 17/06/2025 21:39

I personally think if someone does something that evil they revoke all their rights. However the issue is more a practical one. Death penalty is expensive, can get the wrong person etc.

YourAmplePlumPoster · 17/06/2025 21:40

It can't be proven beyond a doubt as recent cases overturned show that innocent men were incarcerated for rape and murder. The fact it took many years to release these men is criminal in itself. Remember the Guildford 4 and Birmingham 6? Wilfully left to rot in jail because the establishment couldn't be seen to have made a mistake even though they knew they had made a mistake.

That’s a bit harsh, I do think popular punitivism is on the rise, not just in the UK but across a number of countries as a response to crime levels.

I do think El Salvador is probably the cautionary tale here. Of a man who swept to power on a pledge to be hard on the gangs. He built mega jails and threw them in, with no due process and the number of murders plummeted and the people were duly grateful.

Of course power tends to corrupt and he shows no sign of reining it in and is cementing his authority silencing opponents and critics. I think history teaches us thst the harshest of regimes expands to encompass all the people although it begins targeted to the few.

QueenOfHiraeth · 17/06/2025 21:44

@SoManyTeeth This kind of snarky, belittling is exactly what people are complaining about.
If you are right then why not use your supposed greater morality and intelligence to try to change the minds of others rather than this kind of "look how superior I am while I look down on you" attitude
I can see the problems with wanting a legalised system of torture and death but think most of us will admit to, at least a momentary, wish we had one when reading about grooming gangs and cases like this

Is it not because asylum seekers / foreign nationals commit / are convicted of a disproportionate amount of sexual offences.

It’s almost like men who are raised in cultures where women ( or just some women ) aren’t valued or respected come over here and behave shittily to women.

Oh that didn't take much time.

khaa2091 · 17/06/2025 21:53

What I don’t know (and haven’t seen widely reported) is how these men’s communities regard them? I would expect any men convicted (not just accused) of sexual abuse to have faced being ostracised by their friends and family.

My understanding - and I am fully prepared to be corrected as I don’t know - is that the Muslim gangs involve lots of individuals offending together whereas white offenders are more often individuals acting alone.

YourAmplePlumPoster · 17/06/2025 22:00

The Pakistani gangs were given carte blanche to carry out their criminal activities in plain sight much as Jimmy Saville was given the same because of institutional paralysis.

Poynsettia · 17/06/2025 22:11

I thought one of the main issues with the grooming gangs was that ethnicity was NOT recorded so much of the stats on sex offenders cannot be verified.

IButtleSir · 17/06/2025 22:16

Like @Chichianti and @Dappy777, I used to consider myself left-wing. I now refer to myself as "lifeboat-wing"- women and children first.

@rickyrickygrimes- you are welcome to join me!

SoManyTeeth · 17/06/2025 22:17

Snarky belittling is about all I think that post deserves. It's not a useful addition to the conversation, it's yet another post trying to turn yet another thread into "I am considerably harsher than yow".

If being laughed at for trying to show off their moral superiority through ever more extreme sadistic revenge fantasies is "exactly what people are complaining about", then they're complaining fruitlessly because there will always be people who despise and laugh at them.

Unlike you, I don't think that that's "exactly what people are complaining about", or at least not all of them. Many are writing reasoned and sensible posts. But you're gaily lumping them in with the torture'n'murder crowd. Wonder why.

Edit: that was in response to @QueenOfHiraeth's post but, the quoted post got lost when I accidentally navigated away from the page.

JustFeedMeCake · 17/06/2025 22:19

Agreed OP. Anyone opposed to the death penalty is weird to me. I said what I said. Don’t come for me!

Greenartywitch · 17/06/2025 22:22

You can be left wing and still be tough when it comes to law and order.

I will never vote conservative or reform but I want to see tougher sentences for criminals, deportation for foreign criminals who commit violent crimes and I am for the death penalty.

I am kind to decent people but I have no empathy whatsoever for law breaking scum.

”There were 16,771 convictions for sexual offences, with a known nationality, between 2021 and 2023 and migrants accounted for 2,500 of these. This is 15% of sexual offence convictions during this time period.
A further 1,652 convictions were of individuals where the nationality was “unknown”. This means that between up to 23% of all sexual offence convictions could have been of foreign nationals.”

Over 100,000 foreign national convictions in just 3 years

I would like them to be executed purely because their crimes do not stop when they get sent to prison and people have to risk their lives looking after them. Like Axel Rudakabana who maimed a prison guard recently. I wonder if those against the death penalty would want to have to look after him for the next couple of decades?

Trigger warning.
Marianne Bachmeier had a 7 year old daughter, Anna. Anna truanted from school after a fight with her mother, and visited the house of a piece of 💩 by the name of Klaus Grabowski. He raped and murdered her. He was caught. On the second day of his trial, he testified that the little girl had attempted to extort him because of what he had done to her. The following day, Marianne Bachmeier brought a gun to the courtroom and shot him six times. She served three years in prison for manslaughter. She died in 1996. I find it hard not to admire her.

I am against the DP and have spent over a decade working with serious offenders, some of whom have murdered and raped people. It hasn’t changed my mind about the DP one bit.

I can understand her reaction. I think we have a primordial, visceral, reaction when it comes to our children. I don’t think she should of got three years either, I think you could argue she’d had some sort of mental break and needed lots of therapy.
