Yip I hate homework, we get it on a Thursday to be handed in on the tuesday. I have a 9 month old and my DP works shifts. My DD struggles academicly at school so finds homework hard. So along with the nagging I have to sit 1ith her to help her get through it. So yeah it really impacts time at home.

Honestly, we don’t always bother doing it unless it’s a project. It would be different if my child was struggling but they seem to be doing well at school. I don’t really agree with homework for primary school, but that’s a whole other discussion!

Don’t do it. Studies have shown homework other than reading for that age group is pointless and has no effect on attainment. Just tell the school you won’t be doing it.

Hear hear! We have had years of it. DS2’s school has one teacher that uses 90s Word Art in her presentations and she is ICT lead, hence rubbish homework apps.
