Posh cat treats?

I am going to stay with a friend next weekend and wondering about gifts to bring her. She adores her cat so I thought of bringing something for him, either some treats or toys. I have never had a cat so I’m not sure what would be regarded as special. I don’t want to get something she routinely might buy at Tesco. Are there elevated cat treat or toys?

My 2 like this catnip mouse and like these dried chicken treats. Depends how much you want to spend and whether they are fussy or not. Think amazon might sell smaller packs of the curious cat treats if you dont want to buy a big tub

Molly’s Mice are gold standard catnip toys.

That's a lovely idea, I have three cats so would really appreciate gifts being bought for them. Mine love dreamies which are of course widely available but expensive so mine get the Tesco version. Mine would be ecstatic with a tub of dreamies! Cost about £5. Also their absolute favourite toy (my Maine coon walks around with it) is Da Bird - you can get cheaper copies off Amazon. I'm sure whatever you get will be very much appreciated. L

I'd stick with toys. Some cats (looking at mine) are weird and refuse treats!

My cat would recommend these.

My cats absolutely love catit treats (and they are very fussy) you can get them in pets at home. It’s so lovely that you would think of them.

Freeze dried treats are a good idea, mine love freeze dried chicken, duck, rabbit etc but the treats are too expensive for me to buy regularly. My cats like most brands, their absolute favourite are hippaws but they like the other brands too. They are additive free and usually just 100% meat so good for most cats even those on special diets. Sorry, my link won’t work but just type ‘freeze dried cat treats’ into Amazon and there are lots of options!
