I had a cup of tea an hour ago - will soon have pineapple chunks🍍on yoghurt with a sprinkling of crushed nuts to add crunch, then coffee

Then late morning I'm thinking maybe bacon and eggs! 🍳🥓

Banana on toast , chapped eggs with butter and pepper in a cup with a pot of tea.

Plump82 · 15/06/2025 07:11

Acai bowl with apple, banana, pear, strawberries, raspberries, granola and peanut butter. Oh and some chopped dark chocolate.

GetOffTheCounter · 15/06/2025 07:14

I am thinking of rousing myself and going to the Co-op (now open) for GF bread. I have a yen for baked beans on toast.

When I get in from work it will be a bowl of Sainsbury's muesli with milk. I might gave toast too. I don't drink tea in the morning when I'm on nights because it keeps me awake.

AllProperTeaIsTheft · 15/06/2025 07:17

Might have eggs when everyone else gets up. With rice cakes for me, unfortunately. I'm gluten free but I cba with gluten free bread - it's all rubbish!

PeckyGoose · 15/06/2025 07:18

Vegan BLT. Already eaten, as night shift finished at 6am. Crawling off to bed now 😴

MadamePeriwinkle · 15/06/2025 07:19

Currently laying in bed debating this very question.

Crumpets are a distinct possibility - either with cinnamon butter or cheese and marmite. I've never had either before and can't make my mind up...maybe one of each?

MascaraGirl · 15/06/2025 07:21

We are on a cruise ship in the Mediterranean and have just had coffee and croissants on our balcony!

JG24 · 15/06/2025 07:21

Having a black coffee now, will be having a croissant, ham and cheese soon, if the sun shows itself I'll eat it outside

YellowGrey · 15/06/2025 07:23

Porridge, banana, drizzle of maple syrup, coffee.

Deliveroo Co-op is about to be delivered any second with supplies to make bacon and avocado sandwiches (homemade version of fave local cafe), and some sausages for good measure. Father’s Day and DH had all 3 kids all day yesterday, thus afternoon, and Fri-Mon next week! He’s usually pretty 50:50 but the last couple of weeks have tipped the balance to more 70:30 him:me 😅

Parker231 · 15/06/2025 07:25

We’ll probably walk to the village square and sit in the sun with coffee and croissants. Making me hungry now!

Roselilly36 · 15/06/2025 07:26

DH is going to cooked full English breakfast this morning as all of our DS are home and it’s also DS1 birthday today, DH loves cooking even on Fathers Day.

SushiDisco · 15/06/2025 07:26

Banana oat pancakes with strawberries and Greek yogurt 🥞

Iamthemoom · 15/06/2025 07:36

Just coffee. On my second already! Not a breakfast person really though I love breakfast food so maybe a bacon sandwich at lunchtime!

Ah, muesli after night shift... that takes me back.

Some 50 years ago as a student nurse used to have a sachet of Alpen & milk, followed by tinned plum tomatoes on toast!

Don't think I've eat Alpen since, nor tinned plum tomatoes on toast come to think about it.

Cooked breakfast.

DH and I had a child free night and I plan on a good breakfast before the drive to pick up the kids from my mums.

ihatecoffee · 15/06/2025 07:42

Just a cup of tea….I can’t stomach anything to eat until at least midday

GameOfJones · 15/06/2025 07:45

We're going out to a café as a treat since it's Father's Day. I'm planning on having skakshuka.

whatcoulditbee · 15/06/2025 07:48

As it's fathers day, I'm debating making gluten free pancakes. I've not made them since my husband has had to go gluten free, so not sure how they will go!

We've got home grown strawberries and syrup to top them.

FancyBiscuitsLevel · 15/06/2025 07:54

Rice cakes with cashew nut butter and apple slices with good coffee.

FairGreyBird · 15/06/2025 07:55

Family around for Father’s Day breakfast, bacon and egg/ sausage and egg pastries fruit and pancakes. Not all but a little breakfast spread to choose from

BigDahliaFan · 15/06/2025 08:29

today no idea. But yesterday made poached eggs with avocado on toast, roasted mushrooms and tomato with a bit of fresh coriander lime juice and chilli. It was delicious.

alwayshungryhippo · 15/06/2025 08:30

Avocado on sourdough with kimchi and sauerkraut
Mixed berries with s dollop of yoghurt and Brazil nuts

ConnieHeart · 15/06/2025 08:32

In an hour or so after another cup of tea I'll have strawberries, grapes & mango with Greek style yogurt & Brazil nuts. Pretty much the same breakfast I've had every day for the past few months
