Bleeding after orgasm, argh!

Sorry for the obvious TMI here!

Around three hours ago I had a non-penetrative orgasm via masturbation. I don’t have regular orgasms (one a month maybe, and I’m not currently sexually active) and this was exactly the same as all the others have been of late both in terms of method and feeling.

I went for a wee before bed just now, and when wiping there was quite a bit of blood. I’m not due my period (currently mid-cycle) and there have been no other issues. All very mysterious. Google says it could be an abrasion but I don’t think I’ve scratched it! Any ideas?!

Orgasms move your cervix quite a lot, so I'd guess this is where the bleeding is coming from. It's probably a good idea to get it checked

Flowchart

this link shows the process for you to see… as I’m unsure of your age or menstruation situation etc.

Thanks. That’s helpful. I am 34. Regular periods, currently mid-cycle. Last period began on 1st June. Never any other bleeding. Definitely not pregnant, no STI history (and definitely no current STI). Never had any post-coital bleeding although not had sex for a couple of years. Approximately monthly non-penetrative masturbation / orgasm, usually around ovulation time. Sometimes more often but nothing wild. Never any issues before.

That flowchart is reassuring. Hopefully will be fine in the morning and a one off.

Nothing this morning when I went to the loo just now.

Very strange. Nothing g different to normal and yet there was bleeding. Will keep an eye on it for sure.
