An idea about teacher gifts

Inspired by the poor teachers on the shortbread v pastries thread… If you are stuck for ideas, why not get your child‘s teacher some nice coffees, teas and biccies for the staffroom? My understanding is that some teachers are making do with instant coffee which has its place but doesn’t really hit the spot like a nice ground filter coffee … portable coffee filters are also available for those who don’t have them… eg Melitta / Rombouts.

just a thought!

Honestly, this is actually a lovely idea. Most staffrooms run on whatever happens to be on offer that week, and a decent coffee or a box of proper tea bags is genuinely appreciated. It’s practical, everyone can share it, and no one ends up with yet another mug or bath set they don’t need.

Little treats for the staffroom really do make a difference on those long days.

I do this every year. One of those huge bags of yorkshire tea, I am told it is much appreciated!
