Vinted Issue!

I received an item which was not as described (much smaller than advertised) so I raised an issue with Vinted. The seller messaged me and disagreed with my issue, but said she would refund me if I paid for the postage. I did so and returned it, but she failed to collect it and it is now on its way back to me. So I have paid for the item plus 2 lots of postage, but no refund.

It doesn't seem possible to raise this with Vinted - does anyone know how I can report this and hopefully get a refund at least for the item cost? The seller was a bit 'off' with me when I raised the issue, and looking back at our messages she agreed the return and refund outside the Vinted process. I suspect that this was her plan all along. 😩

How did you do the return? If you got a returns labels via Vinted then you should be able to contact them to resolve. When that happened to me the seller never collected the return which came back to me and I ended up waiting about a month for the refund.

Yes I did get the label via Vinted. I will contact them once the item arrives and see what they say.

You should be refunded then in that case. You will need to report the issue.

I have contacted Vinted but so far have just had automated messages referring me to their help pages. I’ll keep on raising issues and hopefully get through to a human eventually. It’s the first problem I’ve ever had with Vinted and I buy and sell a fair bit.

I found it quite difficult to contact them but eventually found a link to the support function. I got replies from a bot to start with and then after clicking a button stating that I still had an issue I got a reply from a human. I still haven't resolved the issue but at least they are apparently looking into it.
