Low profile treadmill…

Does anyone have a treadmill similar to this? Are they any good? They’re quite basic and don’t necessarily come with a handrail, but it might be an easier way of getting my ‘steps’ in! Any opinions? Thanks.

Following as I'd like one too.

there are loads of threads on walking pads. Loved mine (different brand), definitely helped getting steps in.

Can you tell me where you got it please?

I've just ordered one, it's arriving tomorrow.

Ah, walking pads! I was wondering what to google! Thanks. Is there anything you recommend or think I should avoid?

I had a citisports walking pad bought on Amazon. Was surprisingly robust. (just don't need it any more, hence the past tense).

We have one, it goes at a fast walk pace at most, but you couldn't run on it anyway. I like it and the fact that it pops back under the sofa when you're done.

Yorkshiremum80 · 11/06/2025 13:32

It definitely depends what you want it for, if it's just for walking it will be fine but you can't run on them

FutureCatMum · 11/06/2025 19:38

Yes I’ve got one. Bought from EBay BNIB, and it’s great for getting steps in. You can’t run on them but I wouldn’t anyway. I feel a bit dizzy after using it and it can be loud but I just turn the tv volume up. I thought I could walk whilst on teams meetings but that hasn’t worked out. Mostly use in the evenings to avoid having to walk in the rain.

I have one. I use it in meetings when WFH when don’t need to be on camera, or even just to watch tv!! Really helps getting at least 10,000 steps in.
