So my sister and dad were supposed to pop over tomorrow they have just rearranged for me to drive to our cousins to see her. My baby is 10 months old and has a cold he is mostly okay but very snotty. I think it’s better for him to stay home, the problem is when we go out for the day he doesn’t nap well and I feel rest is very important as he is a bit poorly. My sister is making me feel bad as I don’t want to go

i just wondered what anybody else’s opinions on this was?

"Hi sis, won't be coming with a poorly baby, see you all another day".

And leave it at that.

It seems cheeky of your dad and sister to arrange for you to drive somewhere when they were originally coming to you.

‘Change of plan, you and dad are welcome to pop in but Baby Bobby is poorly and I am keeping him today so won’t be going to Cousin It’s today.’
