Electrics have blown

I noticed the electrics had blown earlier, and then noticed a small water leak coming through the kitchen ceiling. The bathroom is above that.

I've tried to switch the electric back on at the fuse box, but it's refusing to let me flick the switch back up. Safety, I guess.

Once the leak dries out, will I be able to flick the electricity switch back up, or won't it be that simple? I was so looking forward to a night infront of the telly tonight too.

Probably but make sure the leak is fixed or it will just happen again.

Thank you very much. I'll give it a few days. I don't want to involve my landlord. It's more stress than it's worth.

Which switch won't go up?
Sometimes you need to push the switch right down before pushing back up
Or is it an individual circuit breaker you are talking about
Can you post a picture of the fuse box?
