Pilates clothes

Didn’t put this in style and beauty because I’m not fussed about style for this, but I’ve just signed up for my first block of reformer pilates sessions. Just need to know - are you supposed to be in loose clothes or fitted?! Fully covered limbs or it doesn’t matter?
grippy socks?

Most people wear normal exercise clothes at my classes so t-shirt and leggings. Grippy socks are good if you have them but barefoot is usually fine too.

There are a few young women who wear bra tops and shorts so if that’s your style you probably won’t be the only one.

Thanks @helphelpimbeingrepressed - I usually exercise in either leggings and a tshirt or a swimming costume!
But I wondered if the tshirt would be practical for the pilates given the positions you get into and whether it would wriggle up!

Fitted so nothing gets caught in springs or straps and grippy socks.

Leggings, close fitting top and sticky socks. My class insists on the socks . You can get them on Amazon pretty cheaply.

I wore leggings and Tshirt.... medium.fitting one and we had to wear grippy socks (Primark to 2 pairs for under £5). Loved the sessions I did though they were challenging at times.

You’ll love it! Best thing I ever joined is reformer Pilates. Fitted clothes is best so the teacher can see your form and so nothing gets caught in the springs/straps. You move about a lot in reformer.

Brilliant advice all, thanks - MN always has the answers!
I’m really looking forward to it, I’ve booked an introductory offer of 4 classes and hoping to have a good idea as to whether or not I want to continue. And it was on my list of New Year’s resolutions so finally will get something ticked off 😂
