TWO HOUR DETECTIVES

Reallly missing old style detective programmes! I like a two hour detective 'mystery' in a serial. Eg.....morse.Vera. silent witness, whatsisface and pasco. Now most of the stuff i find might be good, but its a 4/6/8 part box set. Anyone else missing this kind of thing? I have prime netflix, itv subscriptons. Any advice out there????

I recently started watching the Brokenwood Mysteries. It's similar format to some of the shows you listed. It's set in a small town in New Zealand. Each episode is one self-contained, but there are ongoing themes and many of the minor characters reappear in later episodes so there's great continuity.

I agree. We enjoyed Endeavour, but really miss having something to watch. Might have to resort to reading!
