Oh that's a good idea. DH just cleaned his car inside and out last week. I got him car cleaning stuff for Christmas. He's really difficult to buy for was thinking a little treat hamper with crisps, chocolate and wine a card of course. Not sure what else 🤔

My dh is also kind of difficult as has everything he wants. Our dc usually take him out for wings and beer. He likes beer related gifts. I read on mumsnet about double walled beer glasses keeping drinks cold and bought him one last year, he loves it.

A new golf bag and a round of golf with the older kids at his favorite course. Steak dinner on the BBQ.

My DF has started going fishing again with DB so I've bought them a lovely flask with multiple little cups attached. Dad actually spotted a grandad cup he likes, he's quite fussy so this is rare, I'm going to pick that up this week. And I just had another DGS for him so got a lovely pic of them all together printed off in a nice frame x

Fuck knows, need ideas haha

Bollynicks · 09/06/2025 21:44

Dh sadly doesn't drink beer or play golf or eat steak or fish. But all your ideas sound lovely and I hope you all have a great day.

@sheknowsitstoolate 🤣 hopefully this thread will give us ideas 🙏

Edited

Can I ask where you got the beer glasses from? They sound great!

TwinklyNight · 10/06/2025 22:53

I bought the double walled beer glasses from Amazon!

Itonlytakesone · 10/06/2025 22:55

I bought my husband a personalised cushion from Amazon with a favourite pic of him and our daughter! It was just the case so I ordered the cushion separately (Amazon) to put in the case.

I booked tickets to a nice NT property not far from us where we haven’t been yet. DD mentioned baking.

Disco2022 · 10/06/2025 23:02

We've got a nice new teapot for him and some loose leaf tea. (He does want/need this)

Bollynicks · 11/06/2025 06:44

Morning all those all sound lovely presents 🎁 nothing that suits my dh though 😢

I bought a small bottle of local whiskey for both DF and DH as both love whiskey and haven’t tried this one. Eldest DD is making cheesecake herself while youngest has got a mug for DH. I’m baking DF a strawberry cake and topping everything up with a handful of new potatoes and a cauliflower if they are ready (veg farmers)

DappledThings · 11/06/2025 13:00

Nothing. Neither FD or MD are present occasions to me. Just cards.
