Help! Which tube journey?

I need to be at St Pancras for 8.30 on Wednesday morning. I assumed I would go to Waterloo and then get the Bakerloo to Oxford Circus then Victoria line to King’s Cross. But Trainline says I can change at Vauxhall and get the Victoria Line to King’s Cross. Does anyone have experience of these routes at these times and can advise which would be best? Many thanks!

Yes change at Vauxhall. The stations will be very busy so the fewer interchanges the better. You can walk to st pancreas from kings x without leaving the station.

So you’re getting in to Waterloo?

I’d go Northern Line to Euston and walk to St P

I am, although I could get into Vauxhall so seems easy enough to go to either. How long is the walk from Euston do you know? Thanks

I’d go to Vauxhall and get on Victoria line to Kings Cross. I’ve done this many times, it’s easy and quick.

About 10 mins, straight line and flat

I would recommend downloading the Citymapper app. It will tell you the quickest route, least changes etc. it’s also really useful at updating if there are any problems on tube lines. Agree Vauxhall and Victoria line probably best but always worth checking on city mapper as you are on the train.
