Among them an intrepid, brave, selfless young lady called Geraldine Thornbury, ventures forth in her plucky little, but luxurious, dinghy.She is accompanied by a group of people who Care A Lot About Important Things. Armed with a flock of trained pigeons to ensure everyone back at home can know every detail of this important mission, she cares little that the enemy will also keep abreast of her clever plan, she bravely pushes forward to save the people of France and beyond. Her plan? To land at Cherbourg and share the contents of her spiffing picnic basket.After this, who knows, she will probably be thrown into the cogs of the Nazi war machine but least people at home in England will now know for sure there is definitely a war on and Hitler will probably be so embarrassed he will immediately end all hostilities!
