Vinted- seller sent wrong thing and now on holiday. What to do?

Just seen a message from the seller 5 days ago saying she’s sent the wrong thing. She’s now on holiday on Vinted so I can’t contact her. What do I do?

Contact Vinted under the help section on the message thread

Can’t you report an issue with it? They’ll have to respond. If you don’t do that then after so many days it’ll just go through as a satisfied sales.

Should I wait for it to turn up? It’s due to arrive today.

Yeah wait to receive it and then report it to Vinted as item not as listed.

She might send you the right item if she still has it and you think she's made an honest mistake. (After accepting the return of the incorrect item)

Well I got a refund for the incorrect item but she is on holiday and I don’t think wants to sell it anymore as I reported it to Vinted initially

Nowt you can do if she doesn’t want to sell it. Good you got a refund.

I don't think there was anything else you could have done. You could've got landed with the incorrect item if you hadn't reported it. Perhaps she wasn't acting in good faith.

Vinted are a bit rubbish when anything goes wrong.They take forever to sort anything out.
Recently I’ve bought several things on there that have been stained/bobbly crap, and you have to pay postage to send back something that you would never have bought had it been listed honestly!
