Child Maintenance excuses

Hi mummas,
I want to know what crazy excuses your baby daddy has made to justify him not paying his child maintenance?

Mine said that the child he lives with now are more important (the children aren't biologically his)

Yes this, and maybe having a baby daddy gives a hint of thr irresponsibly of the 'daddy'

My ex husband saw their child as a pay per view issue - they would only pay maintenance when I put said child on a plane to the United States with no court orders in place.

Mine said he didn't choose to have dc, only we had fertility treatment, he literally did it in a pot and signed the paperwork, having tried for 4 years!
Any way dc is now an adult doesn't see his father and we never received cm (they wrote it off when they changed to the new system). He gave up his job and apparently never claimed benefits either!

Why don’t they get it straight from his salary? Is he self employed?

Mine doesn’t pay either, and that’s through cms.

He’s now on benefits as he’s too stressed supporting his other 8 kids and he’s too busy to see ours apparantly. I get a tiny amount eg 10 pounds here and there

doesnt even deserve the title of sperm donor.

If they are employee than they can have an attachment of earnings on their wage so the CMS comes out at source ,I think it's more difficult being self employed as someone might not declare all their earnings and say they earnt very little.

Because the CMS is not fit for purpose and won’t make the proper investigations, plus they can’t do an attachment of earnings, plus he’ll be cooking his books.

Badically give up on the idea and move on - Hes just taken up rent space in your head
