Tips on how to stop feeling like a failure…

I am feeling so over whelmed right now! New job, new hours, what feels like a million party invites for the kids, jobs that need doing in the house and I really need to loose some weight. I actually tried super hard this week and feel like I failed at everything.

Hit me with your hints and tips on navigating life please!

Lower the bar. Accept that for a few weeks or months whilst you get used to the new job and hours things will be off kilter. You’ll sort yourself out but cut yourself some slack in the meantime. Hugs!

Thanks, I maybe do. I just messed up emailing scouts and felt like a right tit but it’s all sorted eventually. I had a massive cry and my husband said I need to be easier on myself and ask what he can take off my plate.

What can you take off your own plate too? Starting a new job is a stressor (however good the job is!) so I wouldn’t attempt to lose weight until you’ve settled in a bit, for example.

Say no to half of the parties - the kids will live!

Can you spend a few minutes thinking about what went well this week? Just try to shift your focus a bit.
