The Dreaded “ Karen” Insult

Usually I don’t get dragged in when some idiot uses this word but just now I did on a local page because it was over something so trivial. I called the guy out by saying “ And there it is. There’s always one. You may not have a problem with x but you certainly do with being a misogynist. Your use of that word says way more about you than it does about me”. That felt great! I really hate it & it seems to be happening more & more.

I've only been called one once, when I got out of my car to politely but firmly ask an Audi driver to reverse into the passing place on a country lane.

My witty reply was "Cheers, Darren." 🙈

It's definitely not the worst insult I've had though.

I was called one on tiktok when some bloke who was supposedly visiting his wife and new baby in hospital but spent his whole time on live in the shared room and you could hear the staff talking to patients he also kept getting the staff and patients on camera it was awful. I said how he shouldn't be live streaming in a hospital around other patients and staff as people want privacy and where all hearing confidential information and he told me to bore of and that i was a karen then blocked me
