Needing help with my DD’s bday day out, we are doing a great treasure hunt tomorrow and have most things sorted but wondering if anyone can help with last few ideas.

best central place for sushi (we are getting the train in) place with best selection of Jelly cats.

Any other “viral”/tictok popular treats or shops that would be appealing to a 14 year old?

There used to be a yo sushi, not been for a very long time, don’t know of any others (my parents are there). Not really a tictok type city, more coach tours of mature individuals having cream teasGrin

Hahaha I thought it might be a bit like that although it does have a UO, Zara, John Lewis and Space NK which is a lot more than the city we are coming from has!!! 😅

There is a YoSushi still and also a place called Pious Sushi up the alleyway near Boots which is good. Toot Garook opposite the museum sells Jellycats I think and you can walk up Gandy Street to get there which is good for photos.

Is a hit with students. It's near the Museum. There's a vegan Cake or Death one too, but BBB is great and very TikTok-able.

I have thought of two more questions for people of Exeter! 😊

Good place for bubble tea and anywhere for lunch what would make a fuss of a birthday girl, bring out dessert with a candle, something like that?

DD is at sixth form college in Exeter and says Chococo for hot chocolate.

Also the vintage clothes shop on Gandy Street.

The Old Firehouse does giant pizzas. Otherwise for lunch we've been to the Cosy Club and Comptoir Libanais.

We're in a village so Exeter is exciting but I agree with previous posters that it's not wildly exciting.
