Hi can anyone recommend data /roaming for Spain. I'm with sky and have data in the biggy bank if that's relevant.

I would need 6 days worth.

Any suggestions thank you 😊

I'm with EE and had to pay for extra data while on holiday last year - thanks to the idiots who voted for Brexit.

Check the Sky mobile app but I’m sure it’s a set £2 a day. It automatically activates when you land in the country and send your first text. My bill is only ever max £14 more if away for 7 days if that makes sense?

Check if you have a spend cap on your account. If you do make sure it’s at least £12 to cover the 6 days. You shouldn’t be charged for calls/texts/data over and above the £2 per day as long as the sim deal you have includes these. You can check how much data you have left on your sim on the app and if needed roll some over from the piggy bank. You don’t need to do anything else. It automatically activates then stops when you return home x

If you are out of SIM contract, you can get a new one that includes roaming

I’m with EE and it was about £10 for a week to use the data that came with my
plan so I just paid that

I don't have a contract. We used to be with Plusnet, then EE took them over. Having looked around EE were the best option, not just for price but for coverage as well. O2 doesn't work round here so that also rules out all the virtual providers - Tesco mobile and GiffGaff among others.

I regularly check mobile provision, but I find it a PITA to change providers TBH.

I use Maya Mobile esims when I’m away. Have always worked well and usually less than £2 a day
