We’re taking our 12 and 14 year old children. I’m sure there will be all ages there.

Coralleadery · 07/06/2025 22:03

What are you concerned about? That the 50yr olds will be filthy animals?

MrsPerfect12 · 07/06/2025 22:04

There will be some 40 year olds too 😉

My dc have a tendency to be super sensitive to being in the “wrong” place for their age. So won’t go anywhere that lots of other younger dc are as that feels awkward and also likely to feel awkward too if they are the only kids there. In restaurants they hate going to restaurants that have no kids only adults as they feel it’s not the right place for them or they aren’t welcome. So I am just anticipating if this may happen

How old are they and do they enjoy Oasis?

GellerYeller · 07/06/2025 22:08

And are you in seats or standing?

Tumtr · 07/06/2025 22:14

My DS & his friend, 20 are going. Both are big fans, in fact their play lists are very retro.
DS saw Liam at Boardmasters a couple of years ago, he was very popular so I would expect to see lots of age groups.
My DSis saw them at Glastonbury in 95 so she was my backup in case DS changed his mind about going. It doesn’t look likely though.

Lesina · 07/06/2025 22:15

No because Oasis are terrible. Took a 10 year old to Springsteen though,

Coralleadery · 07/06/2025 22:16

It will be mostly older adults of course. Work on your kids self esteem if they’re embarrassed around others - will set them in good stead for the future. Including workplaces

My teens have plenty of friends going to see them. I know lots of people my age going too. Not exactly a scientific survey, I know.
Im glad you’re seated if my experience of the parka people at Noel Gallagher is anything to go by. Rowdy elements with a lot of throwing of urine! Hope you all have a great time.

Notaripoff · 07/06/2025 22:25

The venues hold tens of thousands of people - there will be loads of kids and young people there. I am taking DS13 (slightly against my better judgment as was always a Blur girl, but he loves them).

Coralleadery · 07/06/2025 22:27

Blur for the win @Notaripoff

id be more worried about piss. Last time I saw oasis I got covered in gross men chucking pints of their piss

Zippidydoodah · 07/06/2025 22:28

Yes, and I can’t wait! One of my kids knows all the lyrics and it’s so lovely being able to share it with them 😁
