Sorry but this is not particularly nice so if talking about blood is unpleasant for you please don't read on.
So I'm a 50 year old woman. I'm taking the mini pill for contraceptive purposes and also because I take it every day I don't have periods. (Been on it since 2015)
About 6 weeks ago I started on mounjaro, fully aware that it can stop the pill working so I've been extra careful. However I didn't take into account that as the pill wasn't working my period would start again. I'm now on day 12 of a seemingly non stop period. This morning I went to the toilet to discover I'd passed a huge raw jelly consistency lump, dark red, almost black in colour. I've never had anything like this and it's worried me. Should I ring the doctors Monday? Or is this something quiet normal and I'm worrying unnecessarily? Thank you in advance for any advice.

Just sounds like a blood clot, but you need to see the GP if it's not normal for you.

It sounds like a blood clot to me, I had one after giving birth where the old blood had pooled. It might explain why the period was non-stop as more still needed to come out. Just a thought.

Thank you, I've not had a period in years but not had anything like this. Quite surprised I'm still having them at 50.
