Can someone tell me what it is like on an all inclusive family holiday in Turkey?

The closest thing I have done do this sort of holiday is a half board hotel in puerto pollensa? Other than that most of my holidays are Cornwall type breaks in the uk. Or city breaks abroad. But all the kids friends go to Turkey . Am I missing out ? Are they amazing? They seem quite expensive the ones I am looking at so not sure if I should book or not

Currently in an AI with DC 11 and 8. They’ve had a great time, weather perfect (hot!) August would be far too hot for us. It’s 26-33 ish at the moment. Side is a gorgeous historic little town, the boat trips are great, treat yourself to a hammam massage on your first day to be scrubbed within an inch of your life and ready to tan!

We camp in the UK in summer (festivals), long haul usually in October and AI once or twice a year to recharge the batteries.

definitely a winner for ease with kids

Just back from Barut Hemera in Side and it was amazing, food, drinks, service all excellent and a beautiful hotel

I went to Istanbul in the last week of October and it was between 26 to 28° daily and it was very comfortable. I'd definitely go to a resort in the first week of October instead of August as it will be unbearable.

Choose a resort near a town so you've got day trip options otherwise it'll get boring sitting round a pool all day. Choos half board instead of all inclusive so you've got options to eat out off site as well.
