Me: ordered eyeliner as good as VBs but half the price. Literally can't wait for it's arrival (based on minimal evidence but hey it's Friday). Anyone else excitedly awaiting tiny things?

Overpaying small amounts on the mortgage. Yes, I know how tedious that sounds. I sell something on Vinted etc, and put the money into my mortgage, and then use the Martin Lewis overpayment calculator to see how much earlier I’ll be able to pay it off (seven years, so far). I often do this multiple times a week.

A book - Wild Folk by Jackie Morris & Tamsin Abbott. It was crowdfunded, and will have supporters names in, including mine. I signed up to it about 18 months ago and it is due to arrive in a couple of weeks, at midsummer. The authors have started showing some little Instagram previews, and it looks really beautiful.

Got DDs school report yesterday. It was amazing and I'm so proud of her. She was the kid who couldn't read or write still in Yr1, now she's flying.

Picking up my new glasses, haven't been able to read well for a while. Having a hot shower alone in a while, alone , did I mention alone 😂. Kids been up since 5 x

I’ve got tons of baby cucumbers and tomatoes in my greenhouse and I’m delighted…. But I don’t eat either. I’m just loving the growth season. I check on them every morning and evening and nobody gets it.

I'm feeling really unwell with a heavy cold chest virus. I was nontheless getting ready to drive DC to cricket practice but I got a ping on my mobile and it's cancelled because of the poor weather. I felt so relieved.

I got a pair of jeans from Vinted that are my favourite ever and mine ripped. So happy!
