Five places you feel really comfortable and content?

1. my bed when I crawl into it at night and it’s all nicely made and the fluffy and the room is dark and quiet and DH hasn’t come up yet and I have a super king all to myself.
2. my kitchen table with my kids and husband eating a meal while the dogs beg under the table. Sometimes I can mentally step back for a moment and feel flabbergasted they are all my life.
3. my desk at work first thing when I’ve got my coffee and I’m on top of it all and people stick their heads in to say good morning and I feel a real sense of community that we all work together and it’s going to be a slog of a day in parts but people still take time to check-in.

My allotment, either when I’m on my own or chatting to the other plotholders, they are a lovely bunch.

Work, we have a proper laugh most days, it only takes one person and we’re all off, we all just get each other’s sense of humour. I’d hate to WFH.

A holiday place that I go to most years with my DH and DCs, deep contentment.

Waking up and finding my cat snuggled up next to me. Getting up to feed her and go to the loo and coming back to bed when she follows me up and lies on my tummy.

My bedroom - especially today - just back from holiday and as lovely as my room whilst away was it’s just bliss to be back tonight in my own bedroom!

My local RSPB reserve - I’m there 3 or 4 times per week. Blissful beautiful nature that is different on every visit 😍
