When you're telling off one DC...

Do you ever feel that when you're telling one on DC for serious bad behaviour, that you might also tell off one of their siblings for something small. Because you just feel very pissed.

Like an example would be that one DC was incredibly rude/disrespectful. Then you see another DC has forgotten to do the dishes and you give them a rollocking as well?

Yes that happens, I guess it happens to everyone but you have to be mindful of the fact that when you're pissed at someone for doing something that's justifiably annoying, that it's just so easy to lash out at another for a minor transgression while you're at it.
It's not really fair though is it? Not when you think of it.
So I guess one has to be mindful, take a deep breath, and count to 10 before taking your annoyance out on someone else.

I try not to be cross with one child in front of the other. It’s not always possible but I try.
Being cross with one actually makes me nicer to the other one actually and they’re the one in my good books!

I do occasionally lash out at the other DC for minor things.
