Anyone tried them? Any good?

They are quite good. I have a pair that I wear if I'm out watching live music, at the cinema for some films or on a plane. They dial down the noise to a more comfortable level.

I have a pair for sleeping. They don't entirely block out the sounds that dh makes when he is asleep, unfortunately. They help a bit.

I find them comfortable to wear. The loop bit always stcks out though.

I have a few. I have settled with Quiet 2 for night, as the sleeps don’t have as good reviews so I’m not bothering with those.

sometimes they’d fall out at night but I seem to have the technique down now and they’re much better. I have a spare pair next to my bed in case I lose one in my bed at night 🤣

during the day I like the quiet (originals) but you can get the quiet 2s and change the buds.

they don’t drown out everything, I can still hear my husband snoring but it’s not as bad.
I would NOT be without them now

Jazzygingninj · 05/06/2025 09:53

Thanks both.

@FuzzyCaoraDhubh which ones do you have? I wanted Engage for longer term use but have some concerts to go to so thinking of experience as well but didn't really want to buy two pairs.

Yes, I love them. I use them in the office as I've got used to the silence of WFH, and can't stand when people take calls next to me.

Mine are the standard ones.

FuzzyCaoraDhubh · 05/06/2025 10:16

I'll look them up and try to remember @Jazzygingninj

Mine used to fall out for quite a long time before I figured it out 😄

I have the Experience ones for going to loud events as I don’t want my ears ringing the next day. They are great for that, although they make holding a conversation weird for me (but such events aren’t always about conversation!) as my voice is too loud in my head.

FuzzyCaoraDhubh · 05/06/2025 10:25

I've looked them up.

Experience 2 for noise
Quiet 2 for uninterrupted sleep (I wish!)

L00pyLou · 05/06/2025 10:25

They are but you can get cheaper dupes now - take a look at Jaine ear plugs on amazon

Menendall · 05/06/2025 10:26

I have chronic migraine so often need to dull outside sounds. They do this quite well but you can still have a conversation. There’s a little questionnaire for you complete to ensure you buy the correct ones for what you want. All in all I’d be happy to recommend them.

FuzzyCaoraDhubh · 05/06/2025 10:27

Just tagging @Jazzygingninj again so you see my second post.

Agree that holding a conversation is strange when wearing them but I wouldn't be without them.

Jazzygingninj · 05/06/2025 12:00

Thanks @FuzzyCaoraDhubh maybe will get both then

I bought the engage 2 but they gave me a thumping headache every time I wore them. Loop have a no quibble money back guarantee. I asked for a refund and they gave me my money back and told me to keep the earbuds.
