On Friday I had 3 interviews.
Interview A went fantastically well, and got very positive feedback.
Interview B went so/so I thought I had given mediocre to good answers but had made a real connection with the Director (who's is the HMs manager).
Interview C went also fantastically well, for a job I could do with my eyes closed.
The results:
Interview A - meeting with the CEO (happy days!)
Interview C - got a rejection email (apparently somebody was almost at offer stage and preferred to go with that candidate instead).
Interview B - got an email, saying they've cancelled the vacancy, but I impressed the Director so much that they're putting me forward for a managerial role!
So there you go, human connection does matter, and how we do in interviews can be somewhat unexpected :)
