If I'm really bored, like now, I ask it extremely silly questions and it never fails to come up with something (why do cuckoos have fat legs? Why do I love tarmac? Why is football boring?). It's like having a really nerdy boyfriend who thinks he knows everything....

The AI is annoying but also quite often totally unreliable and full of inaccuracies!

The difference between AI and most males I know is that if you call it out on mistakes it apologises most graciously.

Ah winner OP! I hate that bloody AI response, it's so untrustworthy, it's just more to scroll past to get to some actual search results.

This thread has prompted me to disable the a.i. option in my searches in the Brave and Opera browsers. I use the DuckDuckGo search engine in Opera - a.i. is called "instant search" there so I've nobbled that too. I won't miss it.

You can switch to ecosia too, it plants trees with every search.

I need to start doing this. It's often wrong anyway. I just scroll past it now to get to actual human responses.
