I got an interview invite for Administration Assistant in a primary school. The interview is next week. They said in the email that i will be required to complete a task, followed by a formal interview.
Do you guys have any idea as to what the task would be.
To those of you who work/has worked in the past in a school as Admin Assistant- what questions are likely to come up at interview?

Any help is much appreciated. I feel really nervous!

Thank you guys!!!

The task could be Word or Excel related. As for interview questions they will be based on thd job spec so have a look at that. Use the STAR system to answer the questions and use specific examples of what you have done. Good luck.

I think it could be a list of jobs that need doing. In this task you are asked to list the order in which you would complete the activities ie prioritise them. And you may then also be required to complete something like writing a letter. In a school, this task would commonly include a safeguarding issue. Eg type up a newsletter, reply to a email from someone looking for work experience, deal with a child reporting to you with an injury or worry, put all school reports in envelopes. Reporting the safeguarding issue MUST be your first priority when you list the order you’d complete the actions. And make sure you know about safeguarding. In schools, it is everyone’s responsibility and you may well be asked about it. Good luck.
