Can i cut theses trousers

I bought 5 pairs of theses. I want to take a small amount of the length so its near the ankle . I'm thinking that will be ok.

But if I cut one pair to mid calf would it look stupid.

You would look like your bell bottoms had shrank in the wash.

Can you pin them up to your desired length to see if you like the look, before you commit to cutting them?

Cropped wide leg?
Are they hemmed or raw?
Need a better photo.
If hemmed you need to do another wide hem ( about an inch) then two hems.. about 1/4 inch apart.
If raw hem.. and you just want to cut.. not sure how they would hang.

I will get them done at dry cleaners . I'm Jusy going to find a better pic
