Note To Self

I am somewhat clumsy and inattentive and chide myself for stupid avoidable mishaps. This week my notes to myself have included:

• don’t sing to yourself while pruning the high bits of the tree. You end up with a mouthful of leaves and bugs because gravity works
• don’t try cook three things at once because you might add the chilli powder to the cake wrong bowl
• put knives in the dishwasher blade down
• always wear gardening gloves when weeding the raised bed the evil cat thinks is a litter tray

Anyone else need to remind themselves of the obvious?

Don’t put a frying pan on the hob, then while it’s heating up, decide to just quickly empty the washing machine because you’ll then go and hang it out/decide to sweep the utility floor/clean the chuffing windows, having forgotten all about the frying pan…..
