Will GP remove fibrous papule?

Just that, has anyone's GP removed one? Got it on my nose for well over a year and hate it but cant afford to remove it privately

I think you're usually referred to dermatology at your local hospital.

No they won’t because it’s a benign lesion and NHS doesn’t remove them so your only options are live with it or remove private

Not necessarily. I’ve had a lipoma and a skin tag removed for cosmetic reasons as it was making me have low confidence on the nhs so they do under some circumstances

Was it removed in the GP practice or were you referred to dermatology?

They won’t remove my lipoma, been asking since 2010! The only way you can get them removed is if a tge dr claims it looks suspicious
